The English Hub is largely run by volunteers. Openings vary over time — staff, moderation crew, teachers, event hosts, and helpers are recruited when the team needs more people.
Before you apply
- Be active on the server with a clean record (no recent mutes or warnings)
- Meet the age requirement for the role (usually 18+)
- Read the community guidelines and understand what the role involves
How to apply
Open a ticket in report-help and choose the application option, or follow instructions posted in announcements when recruitment is open.
Staff and crew applications are reviewed by the team. Teacher applications may have additional language-level requirements (often C2 or native-level English).
What happens next
If your application is shortlisted, a staff member will contact you on Discord to discuss the next steps. We cannot reply to every application when volume is high.
Other ways to contribute
You do not need a staff role to help — answering questions in english-questions, joining voice practice, and hosting informal conversations all support the community.
